No Excuses: The Kyle Maynard Story

If there’s anything you think you can’t do, then this book is for you. I read it several years ago after seeing a post about it on another blog. Basically this kid was/is amazing. He had no arms and no legs yet figured out how to do amazing things by himself — from daily activities to learning how to wrestle.

I highly recommend No Excuses for people with muscular dystrophy, but especially for parents who need to see that regardless of disability, anything is possible.

The main lesson I took from this is that any time I feel as though I might not be able to do something, that at least I should try it and practice it and see if I can make it work. If a guy with no arms and legs can wrestle, then many many things are possible.
